A Brief History of Fooda: A Timeline of Milestones

2010

The Idea is Born

A group of brokers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Time was money, and they couldn’t afford to venture out to the nearest restaurant for lunch — it was a 30-minute roundtrip. So, they started asking restaurants to come to them. And it worked.

2011

Fooda is Created

What started as a simple idea became Fooda — a popup-based food service solution for corporations without a cafeteria.

2012

Fooda Hits 100 Clients

Fooda officially launches in Chicago with its first 100 corporate clients and a growing network of restaurant partners.

2014

2020

Expands to New Verticals
